The WFDSA World Congress XIII 2008 was held at the Raffles City Convention Centre from 8 to October 2008.

The Congress was an outstanding success with an attendance of 490 delegatescomprised of CEOs and key executives from about 50 countries. The Direct Selling Association of Singapore was proud to play host for the second time, the first time was held in 1987.

The keynote speaker was Professor Muhammad Yunus, 2006 Nobel Peace Prize winner and Founder of Grammen Bank, aptly ties in the Congress theme “Empowering Lives Globally”. There were also breakout sessions which representatives from DSAs in the region who shared their invaluable experiences and knowledge.
